Not actually a winner

(Book spoilers ahead)

There was a TV show in the 2000s called Heroes, about a world of super heroes living amongst us. It was great fun until one character gained the ability to mimic any other character. After that, any dramatic setup could be resolved with a Scooby Doo style pulling off of the mask and “Aha, it was me all along”. Totally undermines the plot.

This is the third David Baldacci novel I’ve read and suffers terribly from the same master of disguise flaw. One to skip.
